Eagles rest report

where can I type, now it does it,,,About Spunky Buddy...Last Sunday Susan goes over to her Mom's house because MawMaw is not feeling well. About 8:00pm, She drives up and comes in the back door and is crying and pointing to the car, and I HEAR, I just couldn't leave her alone, so I jump up and head out the door to assist Maw Maw out of the car. You can imagine when I opened the darkened car, what a surprise to have Spunky jump out. I readily confess to having mixed emotions, somewhat relieved it wasn't Maw Maw, but unsure about adding another animal to our kingdom..reminded me of Beth and all the animals she brought home ...break, the Ilovememuesuem, below the eagles rest is basically sealed up, this pic is the writing corner and the first pic put up is from a Christmas past where Igave each kid a picture of me in uniform. I know youall have it displayed prominently in the attic....got a call from Sue Cobb and she has retired and writing about Holly Ridge, has commissioned me to write a short story about the THOMPSONS, which I will publish shortly. Remember I still wear my high school ring which Beth saved for me, so writing will be fun and my memory is not clouded with facts it is my memory after all...love always col

cats under the fig tree

Say hello to Hellmut and Adolphine, 2 of our 8 somewhat feral cats who sit under the fig tree, awaiting our return so we can feed them....I had named the little mustacho Adolph, after George Bush, but he turned up pregnant, so I changed his name to Adolphine.Hellmut is the cat in charge at the farm and the least feral. We had many deer born this year, including a beautiful set of twins, who barely escaped my bushhogging, but they did what mommy said, do not leave this tall grass. I will try to put a pic on this blog.

Wow, I am getting the hang of this blogging..

This past week, we got the 182 home after replacing the left fuel cell, made progress on the Eagles rest, pics to follow, or I will do another blog, saved a stray dog which I named Spunky, and we gave it to Woody next door so Susan can still have control of its life. Woody named him Buddy, and as soon as we finish repairing Woody's fence, I think he will stay at his new home. Blue was very happy to see him go.
